‘Frankenweenie’ ‘Lightning’ Clip, Ads Introduce Shocking New Footage

'Frankenweenie'Walt Disney Studios has just released this new clip from its upcoming release of Tim Burton’s Frankenweenie. While New Holland seems like the picturesque town, it seems to attract more lightning than most locations. Could it be a result of the town windmill? Or is there more at play. In either case, in this clip titled ‘Lightning,’ new science teacher Mr. Ryzkruski (voiced by Martin Landau) explains to the class lightning’s rationale. But just what happened to the previous teacher anyway?

Also, from down under, we have a look at two new television ads for the film which contain quite a bit more animation, previously unseen.

After unexpectedly losing his beloved dog Sparky, young Victor harnesses the power of science to bring his best friend back to life—with just a few minor adjustments. He tries to hide his home-sewn creation, but when Sparky gets out, Victor’s fellow students, teachers and the entire town all learn that getting a new ‘leash on life’ can be monstrous.
