It’s hard to believe, but it’s been nearly a year to the day that we have been able to share images from Walt Disney Studios’ film, The Odd Life of Timothy Green. With just a couple of weeks before the film opens on August 15, however, that’s all about to change as Walt Disney Studios has provided us with eight new stills and one behind-the-scenes photo.
Walt Disney Pictures has announced that it will be offering free screenings of its upcoming family film, The Odd Life of Timothy Green, nationwide beginning later this month. Free tickets to the screenings are now available through the SEE tab of the film’s See & Share app on Facebook. Tickets are available on a limited basis and it should be noted that while specific cities are listed, such as New York, the actual screening location may be elsewhere in the metro area.
While the bad news is that the recently released extended ad for The Odd Life of Timothy Green is not much more than a pared-down version of the most recent trailer, the good news is that the marketing machine is getting behind the film which could very easily resonate with audiences as the live-action feel-good type of family movie Disney occasionally becomes synonymous with.
The film stars Garner and Joel Edgerton as a childless couple who want nothing more than to be able to star their own family, but can only dream about what their child would be like. When young Timothy (CJ Adams) shows up on their doorstep one stormy night, Cindy and Jim — and their small town of Stanleyville—learn that sometimes the unexpected can bring some of life’s greatest gifts.

According to The Hollywood Reported, Walt Disney Studios today announced several dates which include promises of surprise productions coming from both Marvel Studios and Pixar Animation Studios.
The Odd Life of Timothy Green, for which the trailer will be officially released tomorrow, will be released on August 15, 2012.
In 2013, for which a not-yet-revealed Pixar film will be released on November 27, 2013, Disney has also promised another unknown film, this one from Henry Selick (presumably Shademaker) and will be released on October 4, 2013. In addition to the Pixar film, another mysterious Disney/Pixar title now slated for May 30, 2014.
Snips and snails and puppy dog tails, that’s what little boys are made of. Unless, of course, you are Timothy Green, who, as this teaser trailer for the film shows, consists of a recipe of many other things, including soccer hero.
Just two weeks short of Disney D23 Expo, at which the Walt Disney Studios will make a (now extended) presentation, a trailer for the mysterious The Odd Life of Timothy Green has surfaced, apparently against the will of the Studios because they are having it pulled any chance they get, so enjoy it while you can. Adding fuel to the fire, the trailer points to a mini-site (http://disney.com/oddlife) which isn’t yet operational.
