Recently we told you about the United Nations applauding Tinker Bell’s commitment to the environment by making her an ‘Honorary Ambassador of Green’ in a ceremony this past Sunday.
Below is a series of photos of Tink, the cast and crew of Tinker Bell and the Lost Treasure who were in attendance of the event as well as a few other guests.

While the Clumsies all clamored over the arrival of Princess Tiana at Walt Disney World, a little pixie dust fairy flew in under the radar and made a home for himself at Pixie Hollow in the Disneyland Resort. Visitors will also discover that Autumn has arrived and has magically transformed the world around them with the deep greens, crimsons, oranges, golds, and browns of harvest time. In a step to help provide environmental awareness (and perhaps a tad of promotion), the United Nations named Tinker Bell the ‘Honorary Ambassador of Green’ early Sunday.
‘We’re delighted Tinker Bell has agreed to be our Honorary Ambassador of Green,’ said Kiyo Akasaka, Under-Secretary-General for Communications and Public Information. ‘This beloved animated character can help us inspire kids and their parents to nurture nature and do what they can to take care of the environment.’
The Autumn Revelry is upon Pixie Hollow and it’s up to Tinker Bell to create the scepter used to replenish the pixie dust tree and keep Pixie Hollow going. But when things go wrong, she must venture out of Pixie Hollow on her own on a secret quest to right what has been wronged.
Will she soar? Or will Tinker Bell and the Lost Treasure bite the pixie dust? Read our review to find out more.

As we first reported back in early September, Terence has joined Pixie Hollow at the Magic Kingdom in honor of the upcoming release of Tinker Bell and the Lost Treasure. Today we get our first look of Terence courtesy of the Disney Parks blog.
If he hasn’t already, he should also be making his way to Pixie Hollow’s counterpart at Disneyland.
As the leaves continue to change color, Tinktober rages on and it’s time for another contest! This time, Disney Interactive Studios has graciously provided us with five copies of the upcoming Tinker Bell and the Lost Treasure video game for the Nintendo DS.
In Tinker Bell and the Lost Treasure, Tinker Bell’s greatest adventure yet takes place in Autumn, as the fairies are on the mainland changing the colors of the leaves, tending to pumpkin patches, and helping geese fly south for the winter. The rare Blue Moon will rise, and when its light passes through the magical Fall Scepter that Tinker Bell has been summoned to create, Pixie Hollow’s supply of pixie dust will be restored. But when Tinker Bell accidentally puts all of Pixie Hollow in jeopardy, she must venture out across the sea on a secret quest to set things right.
Not too long ago, we showed you how the original computer graphics (CG) models from the actual films helped produce the Toy Story Definitive Collection from Thinkway Toys. Today, we’re going to take a look at the same type of technology being used for an entirely different purpose: bringing Pixie Hollow to life at the 2009 Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival.
Courtesy of our friends at Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment, we are pleased to bring you this exciting opportunity in which two very lucky Stitch Kingdom readers will each win a copy of the newest Disney fairies film, Tinker Bell and the Lost Treasure, in a Disney DVD and Blu-ray combo pack, available in stores on October 27. And if that isn’t enough, we’ll also be honoring the winner with his/her very own set of wearable fairy wings* created solely for promotion of the film and not available in any store! (Note that the color of the wings will be chosen at random and cannot be selected by the winner).
