VIDEO: ‘Partysaurus Rex’ Sneak Peek; Bruce Delivers Warning to Moviegoers
Disney/Pixar has just released this sneak peek at its upcoming Toy Story Toon short, Partysaurus Rex, which is playing ahead of Finding Nemo 3D in theaters starting September 19, 2012.
As the only available toy with limbs, Rex puts his tiny arms to good use by turning on the water and getting the party going for those dried-out toys on his own – which leads to a sort of bubble-filled rave, complete with glow-in-the-dark toys making disco lights under an overturned colander and dance music by Grammy-nominated electronica musician BT.
Speaking of Finding Nemo 3D, Disney/Pixar also released this etiquette trailer which is being shown at AMC theaters in which Bruce kindly reminds moviegoers that cell phones are food, not friends:

‘Small Fry’ Still in Which Mini-Buzz Stands Small with Mini-Zurg
Unfortunately I have not yet had the privilege to see either Disney’s The Muppets or the accompanying Toy Story Toon, Small Fry, from Pixar Animation Studios, but it would appear based on circumstantial evidence that this still, newly released via the official Toy Story Facebook page, features a shot of Mini-Buzz and Mini-Zurg (aka Mini-Dad) in a fast food joint display case of available kids meals toys based on the popular Space Rangers program.
In Small Fry, Buzz Lightyear is left behind at a fast food restaurant when a kids’ meal toy version of Buzz takes his place. While Bonnie’s toys are stuck with the annoying three-inch-tall Buzz impersonator, the real Buzz is trapped in the restaurant at a support group for discarded toys. As Woody and the gang devise a way to rescue their friend, Buzz tries to escape the toy psychotherapy meeting.
Small Fry plays before The Muppets which debuts in theaters nationwide on November 23, 2011.
‘Small Fry’ Credits Hint at Roster of Characters (Minor Spoilers)
Walt Disney Studios and Pixar Animation Studios have kindly provided us with a list of the talent whose voices will appear in the upcoming short Small Fry, which will play before Disney’s The Muppets, beginning November 23.
Based on previously released stills and a clip, we know of course that Tim Allen and Tom Hanks are returning as Buzz Lightyear and Woody Pride respectively, as well as Jane Lynch making her Disney/Pixar debut as Neptuna the mermaid.
Other talent listed as appearing include John Ratzenberger (Hamm), Wallace Shawn (Rex), Joan Cusack (Jessie), Estelle Harris (Mrs. Potato Head), Don Rickles (Mr. Potato Head), Timothy Dalton (Mr. Pricklepants), Emily Hahn (Bonnie), Lori Alan (Bonnie’s Mom), Jess Harnell (credited as ‘additional voices’ in Toy Story 2, Toy Story 3), Carlos Alazraqui (credited as ‘additional voice’ in Toy Story 3), Bob Bergen (credited as ‘additional voices’ for Toy Story 2) and Jim Ward (‘additional voice’ in Toy Story 3).
With a wide range of new, discarded Fun Meal toys, however, there appear to be more slots to fill and with Pixar famous for using its own talent to voice characters, there is a fair share of Pixarians involved in Small Fry. We already know that Teddy Newton provides the voice of Mini-Buzz, while writer/director Angus MacLane voices a couple of the toys himself, including T-Bone and Super Pirate. Other Pixarians involved, several of whom appear to be lending their voices for the first time, include Josh Cooley, Bret Parker, Emily Forbes, Kitt Hirasaki, Peter Sohn and Jason Topolski.
‘Small Fry’ Toy Story Toon Video Sneak Peek (Plus Hi-Res Images)
A few days ago, we shared with you two images from the second Toy Story Toon, Small Fry, from Disney/Pixar which will premiere alongside Disney’s The Muppets on November 23. Today we get our first video sneak peek of the short, courtesy of Walt Disney Studios UK.
In Small Fry, Buzz Lightyear is left behind at a fast food restaurant when a kids’ meal toy version of Buzz takes his place. While Bonnie’s toys are stuck with the annoying three-inch-tall Buzz impersonator, the real Buzz is trapped in therestaurant at a support group for discarded toys. As Woody and the gang devise a way to rescue their friend, Buzz tries to escape the toy psychotherapy meeting.
The clip gives us a glimpse of the real Buzz Lightyear making his escape from his prison, only to find himself in the midst of a support group meeting, where he encounters leader Neptuna (Jane Lynch) as well as T-Bone and the rest of the discarded Fun Meal toys.

EXCLUSIVE: New ‘Hawaiian Vacation’ Toy Story Toon Hi-Res Still
Walt Disney Studios and Disney/Pixar have provided us with this new third hi-res still from the upcoming Toy Story Toon short, ‘Hawaiian Vacation’ which will debut alongside Cars 2 on June 24, 2011.
Set in new owner Bonnie’s bedroom, ‘Hawaiian Vacation’ features Woody (voice of Tom Hanks) and Buzz (voice of Tim Allen) and the rest of the favorite Toy Story 3 toys as they create the ultimate Hawaiian vacation for Ken (voice of Michael Keaton) and Barbie (voice of Jodi Benson). It seems Ken badly miscalculated their travel arrangements, so the gang has to create a dream getaway in Bonnie’s Midwestern bedroom—in the middle of winter. ‘Hawaiian Vacation’ also features the voices of Joan Cusack, Wallace Shawn, Don Rickles, Estelle Harris, Blake Clark, Bonnie Hunt, Timothy Dalton, Kristen Schaal, Jeff Garlin and John Ratzenberger.
