Pixarian Angus MacLane, who most recently directed the ‘Toy Story of TERROR!’ special and ‘Small Fry’ short is also a well-known LEGO enthusiast. His LEGO CubeDude collection has even been produced by the LEGO company for limited edition sets as well.
Now MacLane has taken to CUUSOO to promote two of his projects: a Wall-E figure as seen here as well as the LEGO bunny from ‘Toy Story of TERROR!’ (billed as screen-accurate), complete with the ability to ‘transform’ into a staircase.
Tomorrow, Disney Interactive will release its sixth and first playset for ‘Disney Infinity’ since the gaming platform’s release, ‘‘Toy Story in Space.’ Complete with Buzz Lightyear and Jessie figures (with Sheriff Woody available separately), the playset has the Disney/Pixar Toy Story gang helping the Little Green Men assimilate onto a newly colonized planet. Disney Interactive supplied us with both the playset as well as the additional Woody figure for review.
Earlier today, Amazon.com began listing the soundtrack for ‘Toy Story of Terror,’ the Toy Story Toons Halloween animated special, which was scored by long-time Pixar collaborator Michael Giacchino. You can find the track list below.
What starts out as a fun road trip for the Toy Story gang takes an unexpected turn for the worse when the trip detours to a roadside motel. After one of the toys goes missing, the others find themselves caught up in a mysterious sequence of events that must be solved before they all suffer the same fate in this ‘Toy Story of Terror!’

As per a thread located on DisneyInfinityFans.com, a French etailer had temporarily listed several ‘Disney Infinity’ items that had long been suspected, but had not been formally announced.
Among the items listed were toys (figures) featuring the likenesses of Elsa and Anna of Disney’s Frozen, Mickey Mouse (which we believe will be a Sorcerer’s Apprentice inspired item) and Jack Skellington. Also identified are toy packs branded for Frozen and Wreck-It Ralph (both consisting of perhaps just two characters based on the pricing). Oddly enough, a separate toy listing for Woody existed, casting doubts on the figures expected to be included in the Toy Story Space play set. An oddly named ‘girls’ pack of figures was also listed.
Via its official Tumblr site, Disney Interactive today announced it will be kicking off a national tour commemorating the release of ‘Disney Infinity.’
The tour will kick off this Sunday, July 7, 2013 at the Downtown Disney District at the Disneyland Resort from 4 pm to 9 pm PT and will then make its way across the country, ending up at New York City’s Times Square (home to both Toys ‘R’ Us and Disney Store flagship stores) on release day, August 18. Each stop along the way promises game demos, surprise guests, photo opportunities, giveaways, contests, entertainment provided by Radio Disney and more.
Whether it was intentional or not, the release of a new ‘Disney Infinity’ featurette titled ‘Creating Disney Infinity: Play Sets’ has officially confirmed our previous reports that ‘Toy Story Space’ does in fact appear to be an upcoming playset for the ‘Disney Infinity’ gaming platform.
The video also features minor clips from ‘Phineas and Ferb’ which we also believed to be an upcoming playset but are unclear if it had ever officially been announced as such (characters such as Phineas and Agent P have often been touted as playable characters in previous promotional videos).
