WATCH: ‘Into the Woods’ Clip – ‘To Grandmother’s House’

'Into the Woods' Theatrical PosterWalt Disney Studios has released a new clips from its upcoming musical adaptation, Into the Woods (December 25, 2014), which you can find embedded below. In the clip, titled ‘To Grandmother’s House,’ Little Red (Lilla Crawford) pays the Baker (James Corden) and his wife (Emily Blunt) a visit to stock up on some goodies for her grandmother and — well, herself. The entire clip is a portion of the film’s ‘Prologue’ track.

WATCH: ‘Into the Woods’ Clips – ‘Five Pounds’ and ‘Something In Between’

'Into the Woods' Theatrical PosterWalt Disney Studios has released two new clips from its upcoming musical adaptation, Into the Woods (December 25, 2014), which you can find embedded below.

In the first clip, titled ‘Five Pounds,’ Jack (Daniel Huttlestone) is goaded by his mother (Tracey Ullman) to take his best friend and family cow, Milky White, to market to sell. It also features a bit of them singing their part of the film’s ‘Prologue.’

In the second clip, titled ‘Something In Between,’ Cinderella (Anna Kendrick) and her Prince (Chris Pine) cross each other’s paths in the Woods, where she confronts him about his extramarital affairs with another character he met in the Woods. In the clip, the Prince utters his infamous quip, ‘I was raised to be charming, not sincere.’

WATCH: ‘Into the Woods’ Clip ‘Go to the Wood’ Featuring Meryl Streep

'Into the Woods' Theatrical PosterWalt Disney Studios has recently released a new clip from the upcoming musical Into the Woods (December 25, 2014) titled ‘Go to the Wood.’ In the clip, the Witch (Meryl Streep) makes a proposition to the Baker (James Corden) and his wife (Emily Blunt) in which she offers them the one thing they want most so that she too can have what she wants. Earlier today, both Blunt and Streep received Golden Globe Award nominations for their roles in the film, which caused Streep to break her own record of 29 total career nominations.

‘Into the Woods’ Screenplay Available for Download

'Into the Woods' Theatrical PosterAs part of its annual ‘For Your Consideration’ campaign during awards season, Walt Disney Studios has released the screenplay for Into The Woods (December 25, 2014), which it is offering in consideration of Best Adapted Screenplay by James Lapine, who wrote the book for the original staged musical. The PDF, which you can access here, also includes the song lyrics by Stephen Sondheim.

'Into the Woods' Deluxe SoundtrackWalt Disney Records and VEVO have released the full audio track for ‘Stay With Me’ as performed by the Witch (Meryl Streep) from the deluxe edition soundtrack of Disney’s Into the Woods (December 25, 2014), which you can hear in its entirety embedded below.

Into the Woods is a modern twist on the beloved Brothers Grimm fairy tales, intertwining the plots of a few choice stories and exploring the consequences of the characters’ wishes and quests. This humorous and heartfelt musical follows the classic tales of Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, Jack and the Beanstalk, and Rapunzel — all tied together by an original story involving a baker and his wife, their wish to begin a family and their interaction with the witch who has put a curse on them.

‘Into the Woods’ Deluxe Edition Soundtrack Track Listing

'Into the Woods' Deluxe SoundtrackThe official track lists for both the standard edition soundtrack and deluxe edition soundtrack for Disney’s Into the Woods (December 25, 2014), have been published on Amazon. Comparing the soundtrack listing to the original cast recording does present some changes, however: ‘I Guess This Is Goodbye / Maybe They’re Magic’ is not included here; ‘First Midnight’ does not appear to be included; ‘Careful My Toe’ by Christine Baranski has a track; ‘Agony (reprise),’ ‘Back to the Palace,’ and ‘Boom Crunch’ are all missing.

As ‘Awards Season’ approaches, studios are once again beginning to assemble their ‘For Your Consideration’ websites and so it is with Walt Disney Studios who recently made its site public once again, revamped for the 2014-15 movie season. This time around, Walt Disney Studios appears to be pushing just Big Hero 6 and Into the Woods as well as shorts Feast and Lava (which presumably Disney would love to attach an Oscar to prior to the theatrical release of Pixar’s Inside Out).
