Accompanied by a performance of ‘Let It Go’ by 12 year old YouTube sensation and One Voice Children’s Choir member Lexi Walker, the Elsa bridal gown by Alfred Angelo made its worldwide debut at an intimate runway show yesterday in New York — and yes, it even snowed. We were fortunate enough to have been invited to the event and you can find our exclusive photos and video below.
Nearly four years ago, we first talked about a patented process being developed by Disney in order to make cakes appear to be interactive using projection mapping, a technique oft favored nowadays by Walt Disney Imagineering. But now it’s Disney Fairy Tale Weddings who have seen the projected light as they demonstrate in this newly released video offering a sample of what they can deliver couples at their Disney weddings.
Miss Piggy is back on the big screen, starring in Disney’s Muppets Most Wanted, which follows the Muppets on a grand, star-studded tour throughout Europe. The European setting screamed romance to Miss Piggy, who’s been trying to convince her favorite frog to tie the knot for years. But what will the divine diva don for the all-new film, which hits theaters on March 21, 2014? Vivienne Westwood was commissioned to create couture designs for the fashion icon, including a white dress that would be perfect for a wedding — if one should actually take place.

Disney plays host to over two-thousand weddings each year, with ceremonies occurring at both Walt Disney World and Disneyland. And in February of 2007, Disney launched a Fairytale Wedding Collection by master party planner David Tutera, bringing celebrity style and cache to Disney Weddings. Then in April 2007, Disney partnered with Kirstie Kelly to create wedding dresses inspired by the Disney princesses.
However, for many couples, a wedding on Disney property is not a possibility because of high demand and travel or cost constraints. And with the Disney weddings website getting 60,000 visitors every month, it’s clear that many brides would love to bring a little Disney magic to their weddings, even if they can’t say ‘I do’ in Anaheim or Orlando.
The DisneyStore.com site now features the Disney Fairy Tale Wedding Collection from celebrity wedding planner David Tutera. You can visit the online boutique here.
