ABC’s Wipeout Renewed for Fourth Season; New Courses and New Motivator to Debut

“Wipeout,” ABC’s outrageously popular reality series, has been picked up for a fourth season. Twenty-four daring contestants of all shapes and sizes will compete in the world’s largest extreme obstacle course designed to provide the best face plants, biggest splashes and wondrous wipeouts ever seen on television. Wipeout is hosted by John Anderson (ESPN’s “SportsCenter,”), John Henson (E! Entertainment’s “Talk Soup”) and co-hosted by Jill Wagner.
“I’m excited that a fourth season will give our team the opportunity to create bigger and funnier ways to wipeout contestants and thrill families across America,” said creator and Executive Producer Matt Kunitz.
Next season will bring two brand new courses, including all new wipeout zones, a brand new “motivator” for the Big Balls, the classic sweeper with a whole new twist, and new surprises, including the Lawn Mower and the Sky Scraper Slide.

ABC Takes Replica ‘Wipeout’ Course on the Road – Details and Full Schedule
From May 10 through June 14, Those Daring Enough Will Get to Participate in the “Wipeout” Road Trip, Featuring the Spinning Log Roller and Sucker Punch Wall, for a Chance to Win Fun Prizes!
Just like the popular “Wipeout” obstacle course that delivers laughs, moans and groans to your living room, daring participants will get a chance to partake in the “Wipeout” Road Trip with a modified replica of the course. The replicated course will be set up outdoors and will feature the ever popular Spinning Log Roller and Sucker Punch Wall that will offer participants a chance to win ABC and “Wipeout” branded prizes which may include water bottles, rally towels and t-shirts.

ABC’s ‘Wipeout’ to Kicks Off its ‘Road Trip’ at Walt Disney World May 10-11
ABC’s wild and wacky obstacle-filled game show Wipeout is set to begin its second season on television May 27 and it’s not coming quietly.
The show will be taking its act on the road and its first stop is Walt Disney World. On both May 10 & 11 between 1pm – 8pm, guests will be invited to join the show at Downtown Disney’s West Side between DisneyQuest, Cirque du Soleil and the House of Blues where they will be able to participate in two different stunts taken directly from the hit show.
