Walt Disney Animation Studios has released a new clip from its upcoming film, Wreck-It Ralph, which debuts in theaters nationwide on November 2, 2012. In the clip, titled (appropriately enough) ‘Hero’s Duty,’ we catch up with Ralph as he enters the first person shooter game, having assumed the identity of one of the game’s regulars, in an attempt to conquer the tower and claim the medal as his own.
Wreck-It Ralph (voice of Reilly) longs to be as beloved as his game’s perfect Good Guy, Fix-It Felix (voice of McBrayer). Problem is, nobody loves a Bad Guy. But they do love heroes… so when a modern, first-person shooter game arrives featuring tough-as-nails Sergeant Calhoun (voice of Lynch), Ralph sees it as his ticket to heroism and happiness. He sneaks into the game with a simple plan—win a medal—but soon wrecks everything, and accidently unleashes a deadly enemy that threatens every game in the arcade. Ralph’s only hope? Vanellope von Schweetz (voice of Silverman), a young troublemaking “glitch” from a candy-coated cart racing game who might just be the one to teach Ralph what it means to be a Good Guy. But will he realize he is good enough to become a hero before it’s “Game Over” for the entire arcade?

‘Wreck-It Ralph’ ‘Ralph Meets Vanellope’ Clip, Video Game Teaser
Walt Disney Animation Studios has released a new clip from its upcoming film, Wreck-It Ralph as well as a teaser for the video game being developed by Activision.
In the clip, titled ‘Ralph Meets Vanellope,’ we (not to be confused with the royal we) pick up with Ralph (John C. Reilly) as he finds himself climbing a peppermint tree on the hunt for the medal he won in ‘Hero’s Duty’ but instead finds himself face to face with the spunky Vanellope Von Schweetz (Sarah Silverman) who quickly puts Ralph and his patience level to the test. It’s not all for naught however as she appears to be more than willing to educate him on the dangers of the double-stripe.
Also released is this teaser for theWreck-It Ralph video game from Activision which tells us about twice as much as we already knew about it (2 x 0 = 0).

Sneak Peek: ‘Wreck-It Ralph’ POP! Vinyl Figures by Funko
The real Wreck-It Ralph may be nine feet tall and weigh 643 pounds, but we have a feeling there’d be just as much to love if he were about four inches, under a pound and made of vinyl — and we don’t think we’re alone either! So that’s why we’re pleased to present to you this sneak peek of the Funko POP! collection for Wreck-It Ralph coming soon exclusively to Disney Store.
Each of the figures seen here (Wreck-It Ralph, Fix-It Felix, Vanellope Von Schweetz and King Candy) are of the normal (up to) 4″ size and will retail for $12.50 each. At this time we do not know when they will become available either online or in the stores but we are aware of an October 28 date floating around. This specific date seems unlikely however because it is a Sunday and new merchandise at Disney Store locations debuts on Monday in our experience. As we noted, many of the Wreck-It Ralph items are available for purchase online already meaning they are likely to debut in stores within the next week or so, although there are several other items we know of that have not yet been publicly displayed.
Wreck-It Ralph debuts in theaters nationwide on November 2, 2012.

‘Wreck-It Ralph’ International Trailer Features 8-Bit Disney Logo, Adorableness
A new trailer from Walt Disney Animation Studios’ Wreck-It Ralph, which debuts in theaters domestically on November 2, 2012, has been making its way around the world this morning. In addition to the 8-bit treatment for the Walt Disney Pictures logo that appears at the beginning of each film, this time modified to the film’s theme. The trailer also features a variation of the ‘when the game is over,’ tagline we’ve been seeing on posters, but ends with ‘a new world comes to life’ which is a particularly odd way to describe something that’s presumably existed for decades.
Aside from that, set to Flo Rida’s ‘Good Feeling’ and Usher’s ‘More,’ the trailer features a combination of some previously seen animation along with plenty of new animation, once again focusing on the relationship between Ralph and Vanellope, although this time it’s much less about emotion and much more about empowerment. And being adorable.

‘Wreck-It Ralph’ Right Stuff International Poster Variant
A new international teaser poster for Wreck-It Ralph was released today, this time courtesy of Walt Disney Studios Ireland. The primary image is very similar to that of the poster we shared yesterday, although here, Game Central Station is enclosed inside an arcade cabinet and in addition to all of the other characters, Clyde from Pac-Man is also included.
Also different is the tag line, which has been altered just a little to read ‘when the game is over, the fun begins.’
Wreck-It Ralph makes its domestic debut in theaters on November 2, 2012.

‘Wreck-It Ralph’ International Poster Has the Right Stuff
From Walt Disney Studios Australia/New Zealand comes this teaser poster for Wreck-It Ralph from Walt Disney Animation Studios. In addition to featuring Ralph, Fix-It Felix, Vanellope von Schweetz and Sergeant Calhoun, the poster also features licensed characters including Sonic the Hedgehog, Neff, Zangief, Dr. Eggman, Q-Bert and M-Bison in a pose reminiscent of the iconic scene inThe Right Stuff under the tag line ‘when the arcade closes, the fun begins.’
The poster’s image also takes place inside Game Central Station and shows the electrical sockets leading to the movies’ original games (‘Fix-It Felix Jr,’ ‘Hero’s Duty’ and ‘Sugar Rush’) as well as popular, licensed games such as ‘Street Fighter,’ ‘Q-Bert’ and another title that appears to end in ‘Racing.’
Wreck-It Ralph opens in theaters domestically on November 2, 2012.
