Disney’s ‘For Your Consideration’ Site Features Scripts, Music and Images from Films
Over the past couple of months, Walt Disney Studios has been slowly ramping up its ‘For Your Consideration’ website (available at WaltDisneyStudiosAwards.com), dedicated to promoting various aspects of its films for consideration by the voting members of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences for Oscar nominations/awards.
Although the site is still missing a few promised elements, such as the music from the Walt Disney Animation Studios short, Paperman, most of them are there, including an introductory video which introduces and goes behind the scenes of the promoted films: Frankenweenie, Brave, Wreck-It Ralph and Paperman.
The site also offers biographies of those involved in production, full songs from the films as well as the screenplays for Frankenweenie and Wreck-It Ralph.

‘Wreck-It Ralph’ Sgt. Calhoun Limited Edition Doll Now Available
Listen up, soldiers: the kitten whispers and tickle fights stop now. With one of the smallest production runs outside of its 25th Anniversary collection, Disney Store is now offering a 17″ collector’s doll version of Sergeant Tamora Jean Calhoun. Already equipped with the most tragic backstory ever, this faithful replica of the new character voiced by Jane Lynch as seen in the ‘Hero’s Duty’ game in Wreck-It Ralph is limited to an edition size of just 1000 pieces.
Complete in her own deluxe collector’s edition box with display stand, the Sgt. Calhoun doll comes dressed in a black bodysuit augmented by charcoal gray articulated body armor for ‘maximum mobility and protection,’ and is equipped with both a blaster rifle with shoulder strap and a hand blaster with holster.
At just 1000 pieces, chances are she may be sold out or close to it by the time you read this, so if you’re interested in purchasing the doll, you should do so as soon as possible.

‘Wreck-It Ralph’ Hi-Res Triptych, ‘Felix Meets Sgt. Calhoun’ Clip
In honor of Wreck-It Ralph‘s debut in theaters tomorrow, Walt Disney Animation Studios has provided us with this hi-res image which they refer to as a standee, but essentially amounts to a triptych which combines the worlds of ‘Sugar Rush,’ ‘Fix-It Felix Jr.’ and ‘Hero’s Duty.’ Unfortunately the original image is a bit too large to share here, but we trimmed it down just enough to fit, so be sure to click on the image to expand it, then find and click on the resize arrow to see it at its much larger version.
Also, Walt Disney Animation Studios has released a new clip from the film, titled ‘Felix Meets Sgt. Calhoun,’ in which Fix-It Felix r. — on a quest to bring back Wreck-It Ralph from ‘Hero’s Duty’ — has a chance encounter with Sgt. Tammy Calhoun of the Space Marines, in a moment we believe could only be topped if it broke into slow-motion with Gary Wright’s ‘Dreamweaver’ blasting in the background. If only it weren’t for those pesky Cy-bugs.
