‘Thor: The Dark World’ New Hi-Res Still Features Loki (Tom Hiddleston)

In honor of the release of the latest trailer for Thor: The Dark World, Walt Disney Studios and Marvel Studios have furnished us with a hi-res still from the film featuring Tom Hiddleston as Thor’s wayward brother, Loki. Following its presentation at San Diego Comic Con’s Hall H, Marvel Studios and Walt Disney Studios have provided us with new title treatments and concept art for several of their upcoming projects including: Thor: The Dark World (November 8, 2013), Captain America: The Winter Soldier (April 4, 2014), Guardians of the Galaxy (August 1, 2014) and Avengers 2: Age of Ultron (May 1, 2015).

Zachary Levi, Mandy Moore, Alan Menken and Randy Newman to Perform at Oscars

Nominees for best original song will be performed this year at the 83rd Annual Academy Awards hosted by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences on Sunday, February 27, 2011. Today, producers Bruce Cohen and Don Mischer announced the artists who will perform the nominated songs on the Kodak Theatre stage on Oscar Night.

Disney will see both of its nominated songs, ‘I See the Light’ from Walt Disney Animation Studios’ Tangled and ‘We Belong Together’ from Disney/Pixar’s Toy Story 3 presented by their original performers.

Disney’s ‘Tangled’ Clip: ‘PAN-dering’ (Plus a Couple More)

I feel like I’ve been sharing a new clip from Disney’s Tangled practically every day. Oh wait, I have. This clip, titled ‘Pan-dering’ for reasons I suspect I shall never learn, actually is the lead-in to the clip posted yesterday, ‘Person In My Closet’ so I’ve re-posted it below the new one so you can re-watch it in sequence.

In short, Rapunzel has a frying pan.

On that happy note, ‘The Smolder’ was also released yesterday but I think I forgot to share it. So I’m left with no choice, here comes ‘The Smolder.’
