Disney Interactive Studios today announced “Disney Tangled: The Video Game,” a story-based adventure game inspired by the world and characters featured in the upcoming 3D animated Disney film “Tangled,” an action-packed comedy adventure for audiences of all ages. Featuring Rapunzel, a feisty teen with incredibly long magical hair, and Flynn Ryder, a charming rogue, the video game combines humor with an engaging adventure as players embark on a journey to fulfill one of Rapunzel’s lifelong dreams to see the lights she’s admired from her Tower window. “Disney Tangled: The Video Game” will be released for the Wii™ system and Nintendo DS™ family of hand-held systems, as well as Windows/PC this holiday season.
Courtesy of the film’s official Facebook page comes this newly offered sketch from Disney’s Tangled which features Flynn Rider (Zachary Levi), Rapunzel (Mandy Moore) and Flynn’s occasionally-faithful steed, Maximus. Apparently Maximus’ allegiance may belong to someone other than his owner judging by the artwork.
Disney’s Tangled is slated to open nationwide on November 24 with a limited release beginning November 12. For all of our Tangled coverage, see this bookmark.
If you haven’t already gotten enough of the teaser trailer for Tangled released by Walt Disney Studios, we have a little bit more for you to not get enough of. Courtesy of Walt Disney Studios Netherlands comes the following video which features some extended footage which most notably consists of Flynn Rider (Zachary Levi) first entering the tower as well as getting his first glimpse of Rapunzel (Mandy Moore).
And do not fret, my dear readers, despite the dialogue being in Dutch (I understood ‘Hi’), Pink’s Trouble is still tightly integrated. Enjoy:
Although it wasn’t expected to hit the interwebs until Monday, Yahoo! Movies offered up an exclusive debut of the first teaser trailer for Tangled from Walt Disney Animation Studios.
The 2 minute+ trailer gives us the setup of the relationship between notorious thief Flynn Rider (Zachary Levi of NBC’s Chuck) and Rapunzel (Mandy Moore) who has spent her entire life locked up in a tower. We also get quite a bit of an introduction to Pascal, Rapunzel’s chameleon friend-slash-guardian.
Of special note is we also get to see just how ‘magical’ Rapunzel’s hair is as John Lasseter first revealed during the D23 Expo last year.
This Sunday night, Disney Channel will be offering an exclusive first look at Disney’s Tangled starring Mandy Moore as Rapunzel and Zachary Levi as Flynn Rider. For this momentous occasion which takes place during Sonny with a Chance at 8 PM ET/PT, they’ve been running the following promo which features our real first look at actual animation from the film.
Most interestingly, this preview takes place one day before the trailer is released online.
In case you miss the event on Disney Channel, we plan on bringing the segment to you.

Bearing a striking resemblance to the former title treatment and probably not likely to be the final, final artwork, Walt Disney Animation Studios has just sent us this title treatment for the artist formerly known as Rapunzel but now going under the official title of Tangled. The film, which start pop princess Mandy Moore and Chuck’s Zachary Levi, is still expected to open in November 12 with a limited release followed by a wide release on November 24.
